Housing Benefits Backlog

At the Resources Committee Cllr Steve Radford protested at the disgraceful delays in processing housing benefits

In Liverpool the average claim takes 120 days to process whilst government targets suggest it should be 35 days

As a result Cllr Steve Radford has insisted that every other Resources Committee meeting has a progress report on outstanding claims until the backlog is cleared.
