Stock Transfer Consultations a Farce

Cllr Steve Radford has telephoned Cllr Clucas objecting at the utterly inadequate arrangements to consult the remaining council tenants over their future and the planned stock transfers

Invitation letters went out asking people to meetings on 31st march, 1st April and 2nd April with minimal notice of 2 or 3 working days

Not a single meeting was convened for an evening where people at work could attend without short notice disruption to their workplace

Even worse to dsicourage tenants attending there are advised to telephone a freephone number to book a place.

As with most Lib Dem token consultations the free phone number tenants are required to telephone was a dead line.

Could you think of a better way to prevent and obstruct tenants discussing their future ?
