Liberal Party Councillors Steve Radford and Hazel Williams led a fierce attack on Liverpool City Council's failure to progress Freedom of Information complaints.

Both Liberal Party Councillors weighed in with examples of officers obstructing and witholding information to councillors, let alone the public.

Councillor Steve Radford said the council did not need another officers report, it needed councillors to start sacking senior officers who ignored their legal obligations
