House Burglary Alert - Tuebrook based on latest police analysis of breakins in Burns Roads and Rocky Lane Area. Please pass the word

Whilst over the district we are seeing sustained drops in crimes relating to house break ins

However there has been a recent outbreak of homes being burgled from the rear entries during evening time

This has been the direct result of residents leaving gates open , or by leaving wheelie bins in the entry, which are used by burglars to climb over the gates with stolen goods

May we appeal to all residents, please pull any gates closed ,unless you are awaiting for an immiediate bin collection

Secondly please take your wheelie bins back into your house or yard as soon as you can after collections

Lastly if you see any suspicious movements in the entry or yards please telephone police immediately
