Does Merseyside accept gay attacks asks the city's only openly-gay councillor

Following the shock news that 2 out of 12 jurors appeared to accept that Michael Causer attacked the guys who dealt punches, kicks and a fatal blow to hin, Cllr Steve Radford spoke up for the family of Michael causer and hundreds of gay and lesbians across merseyside horrified at the verdict.

Reported in the Daily Post, whilst Steve Radford is not the only gay councillour in the city he was the only councillour to attend and speak at the cities LGBT special meeting in response to the verdict:

At the Forum Cllr Steve Radford pledged that the Liberal Party would lobby for a review of the case and felt an Inquirty was needed just as the Stepehen Lawrence case had led to a puPlic Inquiry in response to the anger and legitimate resentment of London's Black community
